All About Animals Rescue

Company Overview

No more homeless pets is our goal and our passion.

All About Animals Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, founded in 2005, dedicated to ending pet homelessness, suffering and unnecessary euthanasia. We are the largest high quality, high volume, low-cost to no-cost spay/neuter, non-profit, animal welfare organization in Michigan with clinics in Warren, Flint, Detroit and Auburn Hills. Our focus is on spay/neuter, TNR community cat management, pet wellness care and keeping pets in loving homes - all in the pursuit of No More Homeless Pets!

• To date, the rescue has safely spayed/neutered well over a quarter of a million cats and dogs! In 2020 alone, with all its challenges, 31,963 pets were fixed, including 6,643 community/feral cats.

• We provide free health screenings, low cost vaccines and preventative care; helping over 50,000 pets each year.

• Our mobile spay/neuter unit and transport vans allow us to bring low-cost to no-cost spay/neuter and wellness care to under-served communities within Michigan.

• Our Pets For Life Detroit program strengthens the human-pet bond and gives pet parents in targeted areas access to free pet care resources and veterinary care. Pets are sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped, fed and living better lives!

• We utilize a network of foster homes to give unwanted pets a safe place until their forever home is found.

• Through our comprehensive Trap Neuter Return program, over 4,500 people have been trained on best practices in trapping and colony cat care. Nearly 50,000 outdoor free roaming community/feral cats have been sterilized; effectively preventing countless cats from enduring the tragic cycle of reproduction, suffering and shelter euthanasia.

• We work with municipalities to provide humane community cat management practices.

• We offer a Spay Michigan hotline to help families all over Michigan find the nearest low cost spay/neuter provider.

• We are a no kill rescue. Maddie's Fund website has excellent information on the No-Kill movement, what it really means and how to accomplish it.

• We are available for interviews about spay/neuter and animal welfare.
